The home was bought in 1968 for a young family due to a job relocation and was purchased as a custom-built home located on a 1/3-acre lot. Located Lakeside, it has amazing views, access to nature trails, fruit trees, area for a workshop or garden, and a friendly, cooperative, and close-knit neighborhood. Some of the neighbors are still family friends to this day. The owner cultivated a large vegetable garden after he retired. Meals and cooking were traditions in the family as were many memorable Christmas and other holiday celebrations. Kids forts and bike tracks were built on the lower level and many youthful shenanigans took place which we will not talk about here. Frequent visits from family and friends along with birthday parties and BBQ’s were enjoyed by all.
